Well well weeelll I have made it safely through the Virgo season, as Clarice would call it haha. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BREE!!! You wanna hear about this friendship? I have known Bree for pretty much 13 or so years! I met her in the 1st grade and we have been cool ever since! She's my level-headedness :)
Now, let's get to something serious. I have been at this community college for a few months now (attended there this summer in June..HEY ALLISON GURL lol). But, I have been telling people that I want to go back to Hampton after this semester is over.....but I don't have the same conviction I once had for the place. For example, my obligation to the band is not turning into an obligation at all. People are saying the band sucks.....not a good look Force. :( This is not to say that band is bad, but it sure as hell is time-consuming, and let's just say I couldn't perfectly balance the two.
Currently, I am....in transition. I didn't exactly wander away from HU. They kinda fucked up but I can't exactly blame them. There was a discrepancy with my summer credits. Yeah. But now I gotta pay $35 to send them the readmission fee? What?? Eh....this is what you get when you play by their rules.
I'm just glad I'm able to focus on the now rather than the future. I'm definitely taking it one step at a time. I'm still progressing to May 2012 and beyond!! :)

She's BACK.
YES! It seemed to be on every tennis watcher's mind...will she make the same comeback Clijsters did???
And the answer is YES.
ESPN can probably tell the story better than I can about this, but I must say, she can still be a formidable opponent capable of winning Grand Slams just like Kim Clijsters did this month. It's always nice to see someone come back and play to the best of their ability. She is definitely gonna prove to everyone that yeah, Kim did it, and so can I! But what's interesting is that she's only after one thing. Wimbledon.
Here we go.......LOL
And the answer is YES.
Justine Henin sent a shock to the tennis world when she retired 16 months ago.
But not to fear, her burning spirit has compelled
her to seek the Wimbledon title for 2010.

So far these two familiar faces have ruled over Wimbledon, only conceding 2 Venus Rosewater dishes
to Maria Sharapova (2004) and Amelie Mauresmo (2006) over the course of 9-10 years.
Everyone knows Venus and Serena seem to just shine the brightest on the hallowed grass courts of Wimbledon. They BOTH are going to be the formidable threat to Wimbledon glory that Henin seems to gravitate towards. Henin couldn't outlast Bartoli in her 2007 semifinal, but she defeated both Venus and Serena en route to her US Open title 2 months later.
Bottom line: If Henin wants to establish herself, she's gonna need to repeat that conquest of the Williams sisters (on any surface except clay, because she is THE queen of clay haha).
JUST BE YOU!!!
Ok so I (stumbled upon honestly) watched Tyra today and I saw Tyra discussing a 16 year old boy with a "seer" of "Demon spirits" and a pastor trying to explain their actions of "exorcising a gay demon" out of the guy. Turns out that it didn't even work-I saw this on YouTube too. Here is that actual link..there's a lot of other videos as well. The pair believed, like so many heterosexual people I know, that homosexuals are possessed by demons, which is sickening because I think it's just another way for people to hurt one another and not uplift one another. Anyway, Tyra's effortless skepticism mirrored mine. The pair said that the guy, because he's gay, he's going to Hell. I don't believe he is because he obviously is faithful to the Lord. Otherwise, he wouldn't show up to Tyra at all. But he's only 16. Let the boy become a man. Then the man can make his own decisions. But yeah, the 16-year-old's mentor came up and said some really kind words....those words elude me, but they were positive from what I remember.
I say all that to say this. LOVE WHO YOU ARE, UNCONDITIONALLY. If you're gay, be gay. If you're straight be straight. If you want to sweep streets for a living....you know how that parable goes.
Bottom line: Love who you are, live a respectable life, pray to God about any and everything, and you will turn out ok. I mean shiny and new :)

LONG LIVE THE KING!
His name was Michael Jackson. He was a talented artist that changed the lives of the inhabitants of the world.
People were (and still are) in love with who he was at heart, a selfless Virgo who showed us how to moonwalk, give back to others and more importantly, show us that we can dream bigger and farther than we could fathom.
We all know his story. We identify is charisma and musical genius. We also know his road to stardom was not easy....but DAMN IT! Michael Jackson is, and forever will be, THE KING!!!
P.S. You can't outsell Michael Jackson. No one will.

Wet Thursday.
What do I want to say at this moment? Hmm...good question. Let me say that my straying away from HU was for the better. At this point, it was a good move on my part. No HU bullshit-I mean no runaround haha. But I'm more than willing to get back in the swing of things for HU. I'm still working towards May 2012 and BEYOND. Gotta fucking make it. Oh, and I LOVE ADELE!! And Empire State of Mind. That's all for now kids :)
